Her extensive background includes developing innovative brain health programs, providing psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation, and advocating for better healthcare access for women and aging adults across Canada.

"I started Menolink because I lived the confusion and frustration so many women face. When I entered perimenopause, even with years of expertise in brain health, I struggled to find answers. My symptoms didn’t fit the textbook. Doctors couldn’t connect the dots. That experience changed my professional focus and my life.

Instead of settling for partial answers, I spent five years retraining, researching, and building new programs to help my patients, my family, and myself. Along the way, I learned how menopause, brain health, and our stories are profoundly connected—not just for one stage, but across our whole lives and families.

Menolink is the resource I wish I'd had: evidence-based, deeply compassionate, grounded in science and real-world experience. Here, I invite you to pause, connect, and discover how empowered knowledge can change your journey - and your future." Read more...

You have questions. We have answers.

Women’s reproductive health is tied to brain health throughout the lifespan. Menopause is not just a reproductive transition but a neurological transition. During the perimenopause transition there can be mental health changes, cognitive changes and physical changes that may need to be addressed to promote better bain health and healthier aging.

Brain fog during perimenopause is common. Approximately half of perimenopausal women report cognitive symptoms such as difficulty remembering words and names and challenges with concentration. Unlike dementia, brain fog is temporary and often improves after in the post menopause phase.

Start by using a symptom tracker to help your doctor understand your experience. Ask: "Can these symptoms be treated?" and "What are my treatment options?" Don't be afraid to discuss multiple treatment options and ask for a risk benefit analysis for the many treatment options.

Menolink: Connecting the Dots is an innovative company that was developed to address the gaps in public knowledge about women's brain health.

Brain health education has often focused on only changing lifestyle habits associated with physical fitness, diet, and sleep management. Our workshops highlight that there are 3 other important health areas that contribute to overall brain health for women, these are: mental health factors, cognitive health factors and reproductive health factors.

What makes Menolink unique is our intergenerational, evidence-based approach. We connect families, stories, and scientific research by highlighting the critical roles that reproductive, mental, cognitive, and physical health play in every woman’s healthy lifespan.

We don't treat perimenopause as an isolated issue of middle age. Our intergenerational approach connects the dots between reproductive health, mental health, cognitive health, physical health and family wellness. We help you understand how perimenopause fits into your entire health picture; and how to have meaningful conversations with daughters, mothers, and healthcare providers about it.

Perimenopause education focuses on the transition period (which can last 4-10 years) when hormone levels fluctuate wildly, causing unpredictable symptoms. This phase often gets overlooked, yet it's when women experience the most confusion and need the most support. Menolink addresses this entire spectrum of menopause education; from perimenopause through postmenopause and beyond.

No! Menolink serves women and families across all generations—from ages 18 to 100. We cover reproductive health education for young adults, perimenopause support for those in their 40s, menopause guidance, and brain health strategies for healthy aging. We also offer professional training for healthcare providers.

Absolutely. Perimenopause usually begins in your 40’s and sometimes even earlier. Understanding your reproductive health early helps you recognize changes, communicate effectively with healthcare providers, and make informed decisions. Being aware of other conditions that impact reproductive health and fertility such as PCOS are important to know about during your reproductive years. Plus, learning about family health history and connecting with other women across generations benefits everyone's long-term brain health.

Yes, Menolink will be providing CE-accredited courses for psychologists, mental health professionals, and allied healthcare providers. Our education sessions will focus on identifying reproductive health factors in mental health case conceptualizations, diagnostic considerations, comorbid presentations (such as concussion, chronic pain, chronic health conditions), neuropsychological considerations, and integrating brain health strategies into women's care across the lifespan.

Many providers don't realize that perimenopause can start in a woman's early to mid 40s and last up to 10 years. Symptoms can emerge that are consistent with depression, anxiety, or ADHD, and can go unrecognized, misdiagnosed and improperly treated. Different treatment approaches are recommended based on symptom timing, prior history, and severity. Cognitive symptoms are often left unaddressed despite the distress that they cause. The key is understanding that perimenopause symptoms such as mood changes, brain fog, and pain are legitimate symptoms requiring proper evaluation and treatment recommendations, not dismissal.
